Multi-channel smart charging for RC batteries and devices
The ToolkitRC Q6AC is a four-channel AC/DC charger designed for users who need accurate, flexible charging for a wide range of battery chemistries and everyday electronics. With up to 400W available on AC input and up to 1000W on DC input, it can handle demanding charging tasks for RC models, field setups, and workshop benches while also powering phones, tablets, radios, and other accessories.
The Q6AC supports LiPo, LiHV, LiFe, Li-ion and LTO packs from 1-6S, NiMH from 1-16S, and Pb batteries from 1-10S. Each of the four independent outputs can deliver up to 250W / 15A (within the overall power limit), with balance current up to 800mA at 4.2V for more even cell voltages. An IPS color display and scroll-wheel interface provide clear status information and quick navigation, even at wider viewing angles. Input options include AC 100-240V and DC 7.0-30.0V (XT90), with automatic allocation of input power across channels.
The charger integrates multiple convenience features: built-in 65W USB-C and 30W USB-A fast charging (supporting PD, QC, PPS, AFC, FCP, SCP, PE, SFCP and related protocols), 15W wireless charging on the top surface, and a slider design compatible with XT60/XT30 connectors (via optional adapters). It can store up to 32 battery profiles and 3 power profiles for faster setup, and the lithium cut-off voltage (TVC function) can be adjusted to suit storage or cycle requirements. Fan speed is controlled steplessly based on internal temperature and load to reduce noise at lower power. Firmware updates are performed by connecting the charger via USB; the device appears as a USB drive so you can simply copy the upgrade file.
Why It's a Smart Choice
- Four fully independent outputs let you charge multiple battery packs or devices at once, making better use of time at home or at the field.
- Wide chemistry and cell-count support, plus precise balancing and adjustable cut-off voltage, help you manage packs more consistently over many cycles.
- Integrated USB-C, USB-A and wireless charging reduce the need for separate power adapters for phones, tablets, radios and other electronics.
FAQ
Q: Which battery types and cell counts does the Q6AC support?
A: It supports LiPo, LiHV, LiFe, Li-ion and LTO packs from 1-6S, NiMH packs from 1-16S, and lead-acid (Pb) batteries from 1-10S.
Q: What is the maximum power output on AC and DC?
A: On AC input the built-in supply provides up to 400W total. On suitable DC input (7.0-30.0V, up to 50A) the total output can reach up to 1000W, shared across the four channels.
Q: Can it fast-charge phones and tablets?
A: Yes. The USB-C port supports up to 65W and the USB-A port up to 30W with common fast-charge protocols such as PD and QC, and there is also a 15W wireless charging pad on the top of the unit.
Q: How are firmware updates handled?
A: Connect the Q6AC to a computer with the included USB cable. The charger appears as a USB drive; copy the official firmware file to this drive to complete the upgrade.
Q: Does it store my preferred settings?
A: The charger can record up to 32 commonly used battery profiles and 3 power profiles, allowing quick recall of settings for frequently used packs and power sources.
