Targeted electrotherapy for pain relief, rehab and muscle training
This EMS Electric Muscle Stimulator combines TENS, EMS, Interferential (IF) and Russian (RUSS) stimulation in one compact, clinic-grade unit. Designed for physiotherapy, sports recovery and pain management, it delivers controlled electrical impulses to nerves and muscles to support rehabilitation, improve circulation and help manage discomfort in a non-invasive way.
The device offers 60 total programs, including 23 fixed + 2 adjustable TENS modes, 13 fixed + 2 adjustable EMS modes, 8 fixed + 2 adjustable IF modes, and 8 fixed + 2 adjustable RUSS modes. Intensity is adjustable from 0-120 levels (up to 120 mA), with treatment time selectable from 5-90 minutes in 1‑minute steps. Two independent channels allow you to set mode and intensity separately on different body areas, helping you tailor sessions for asymmetric pain or muscle imbalance.
For advanced users and therapists, the unit provides extensive customization. You can adjust pulse width and frequency, working time, cycle time, intensity and the full stimulation cycle: ramp-up, contraction, ramp-down and relaxation (OFF) time. TENS and EMS frequencies are adjustable from 1-800 Hz in 1 Hz steps, with pulse width from 50-300 µs in 1 µs steps. In EMS mode, ramp-up can be set from 1-9 seconds, contraction from 1-60 seconds, ramp-down from 1-9 seconds and relaxation from 1-60 seconds, allowing you to mirror specific training or rehab protocols.
In IF mode (medium-frequency interferential current), PU1 can be set from 4000-4150 Hz and PU2 from 2500-2650 Hz, both in 1 Hz steps, with cycle time adjustable from 5-60 seconds. This is commonly used to promote tissue healing, improve circulation to injured areas, relieve pain, reduce edema and address deeper muscle groups such as pelvic floor muscles. In RUSS mode (Russian stimulation), PU1 runs from 2500-2600 Hz and PU2 from 2000-2100 Hz, again with cycle time from 5-60 seconds, making it suitable for strength work, muscle re-education and performance-focused rehab, especially around joints such as the knee (e.g., ACL-related protocols under professional guidance).
TENS programs are aimed at managing arthritis pain, nerve-related pain, post-operative and post-traumatic pain, sciatica, joint pain and chronic intractable pain, as well as general back, knee, shoulder, ankle, wrist and elbow discomfort. EMS programs are suitable for pre-training warm-up, post-training recovery, endurance and strength work, and can assist in delaying muscle atrophy, relaxing spasms, reducing soreness and enhancing local blood flow. IF and RUSS modes offer additional options for chronic and acute pain relief, muscle strengthening and recovery in a more deeply penetrating medium-frequency range.
Why It's a Smart Choice
- Four modalities in one unit (TENS, EMS, IF, RUSS) for pain relief, rehab and muscle conditioning.
- 60 pre-set and adjustable programs with fine control over frequency, pulse width, intensity and timing.
- Dual independent channels to treat two areas or muscle groups with different settings simultaneously.
FAQ
Q: Who is this device suitable for?
A: It is intended for adults under the guidance of a healthcare professional or experienced user, including people in physiotherapy, individuals managing chronic or post-operative pain, and sportspeople working on recovery or muscle conditioning.
Q: Can I use it at home without a therapist?
A: Home use is possible, but settings and treatment plans should follow advice from a physician or physiotherapist, especially when using IF and RUSS modes or higher intensities.
Q: Which mode should I choose for pain relief?
A: TENS is typically used for pain management. IF can also be used for pain and deeper tissue issues. The appropriate mode and parameters should be selected according to professional recommendations or the supplied protocol guidelines.
Q: Is this suitable for sports recovery and strengthening?
A: Yes. EMS and RUSS modes are commonly used for warm-up, post-training recovery, muscle strengthening, endurance work and to help reduce spasms and soreness when integrated into a structured training or rehab program.
Q: Are there people who should not use this device?
A: Individuals with implanted electronic devices (such as pacemakers), certain cardiac conditions, epilepsy, pregnancy, or undiagnosed pain should consult a doctor before use. Always follow contraindications and safety instructions provided with the device.
