The SCULPFUN CAM500 uses a 5MP, 1/4-inch CMOS color sensor with a maximum resolution of 2592 × 1944 and a fixed-focus lens optimized for a working distance of 325 mm. Its 120° wide-angle field of view covers an optimal 400 × 400 mm working area, allowing you to see the full bed in a single frame. Fully matched with LightBurn's camera (CAM) functions, it supports precise object recognition with a typical positioning deviation of less than 1 mm when correctly calibrated and mounted at the recommended height. Through the LightBurn interface, you can drag and drop artwork onto the live camera image so the engraver places designs exactly where you intend on the material.

Beyond positioning, the camera supports image tracing directly from real objects such as T-shirt prints, hand-drawn sketches or simple graphics, converting them into vector files for engraving. Batch engraving is supported: place multiple items within the 400 × 400 mm area, assign different tasks, and let the software and camera locate each object without manual re-alignment for every piece. The 120° lens also makes it suitable for time-lapse and process recording, so you can capture and review complete engraving and cutting sessions. The mount system is made from aluminum and includes both T-shaped and U-shaped clamps for broad compatibility with Sculpfun S6, S6 Pro, S9, S10, S30/S30 Ultra series and most V-slot or U-beam laser frames, as well as machines such as D1PRO, Falcon2, LM2 PRO S2, 20PRO 20S, 55, JL3 and 3 MAX V2 (area expansion kits are not supported).
